JOHN CARTWRIGHT

PURPLE ENTRY

Original Australian Artwork | Framed | $950 AUD

Purple Entry is an evocative work by British-born Australian artist John Cartwright (born 1950), whose artistic practice is closely associated with the landscapes, colour and atmosphere of Western Australia.

Cartwright's distinctive visual language brings together expressive colour, carefully considered composition and a sense of place. In Purple Entry, the title suggests both a physical passage and an invitation into the artist's imagined world, encouraging viewers to discover their own associations within the work.

Previously exhibited or sold through Montville Gallery in Queensland, this painting offers collectors an opportunity to acquire an original work by an established Australian artist.

Presented framed and ready to hang, Purple Entry is a compelling addition to a collection of Australian art.
